Making a Difference
In school:
- Katie shared hot chocolate from the Snack Shack at lunch yesterday--we felt warm!
- Mrs. Beekman spent her lunch time helping us with our song for the concert--we really needed the help.
- Mrs. Beekman let us (the boys) out of the song!
- Mrs. Beekman really gets us!
- I held two doors yesterday going to the elementary building.
- Mrs. Koppendrayer gives us ginger snaps in Science.
- Lou (I think it was he), held a door for me, then I held the other door for him. Chain Reaction! That's 2, right there!
- Mr. Lamfers caught the mouse in my classroom.
- We didn't tell Katie about the mouse in my room. (We didn't want to upset her!)
At the Christmas Concert:
- We enjoyed the opportunity to share our music at our concert yesterday!
- Before the concert, my parents took me, my sister, and my Grandpa to the Convention Grill. We had sundaes.
- My dad took my friend and me to Tavern on France.
- We helped one of the percussionists learn his music in time for the performance. It was way better than the rehearsal!
- A bunch of students helped Mrs. Schevenius bring in music stands and equipment.
- We sang "Peace--Peace...", and hopefully, our audience felt peace.
LORD,
Thank you for opportunities to welcome and serve others. These chances remind us that you always hold us up and you never fail us. It is awesome to feel your strength and your peace when you allow us to work with you in reaching out to others!
