Just Getting Started!

"I watched my sister last night even though I had homework. I didn't want to, but my mom needed help. And my sister is fun." Also, 9 doors have been held for people, including someone with a broken leg. "Yeah, she really needed help!" was the comment from the door holder. It's cool to be put in places to serve! We are closer to a Thousand Acts then we were before!

At the Rink...

From an 8th Grader: "At our last hockey practice, our coach wants us to not cut corners when we are skating Herbie's (killer hockey drills) and he messed up. We all had to skate again--over and over. Everybody was mad at him and talked trash about him. I stuck up for him."

One Small Step...

A first act of kindness! Someone helped with the dishes tonight and the workload was lifted for a busy mom. Thank you, LORD, for the opportunity to help in the small things. May this lead to many more chances to be your hands and feet in the days ahead!
